L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, was not just a science fiction writer and religious leader. He was also a poet/lyricist who released several albums and scored educational films for his Church. One of his albums was a score for his novel Battlefield Earth, the first-ever novel soundtrack. His verse includes religious works such as An Ode to Circuits, observational poetry, and declarations of his gratitude and infallibility.
